Position Overview

We are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of our school as a Pupil and Parent Support Advisor. The successful candidate will support pupils and their families in overcoming barriers to learning, with a particular focus on improving attendance, engagement, and wellbeing. The role includes providing administrative and operational support to the SENDCo, delivering targeted 1:1 interventions, and working closely with families where pupils are persistently absent.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the SENDCo, including maintaining accurate records, updating provision maps, and organising documentation related to SEND pupils.
  • Assist in the preparation and coordination of EHCP reviews, annual reviews, and SEND meetings.
  • Attend SEND meetings where appropriate, recording accurate notes and actions.
  • Support communication between school, families, and external agencies.
  • Ensure all SEND-related paperwork remains compliant and up to date.
