We are seeking a dedicated Credit Controller to join our clients team on a 6: month contract.

This is an exceptional opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of global customers, drive cash collection, and play a pivotal role in our financial health.

What You Will Do

  • Proactively manage a portfolio of key global customers, focusing on cash collection and reducing overdue debt.
  • Adhere to dunning processes to ensure timely payments and mitigate financial risk.
  • Negotiate payment plans and lead aged debt reviews with customers and internal sales teams.
  • Evaluate customers regularly for potential bad debt risks.
  • Support month: end closing activities, including reporting and reconciliation tasks.
  • Contribute to process improvements and utilise data analytics to drive new initiatives.
  • Ensure full compliance with internal policies, corporate guidelines, and external audit requirements.

Who You Are

  • You possess a high level of precision and understand the immense value of accuracy.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and have knowledge of data gathering tools (e. g., Power BI).
  • You have a solid foundation in accounting and financial accounting principles.
  • You excel at cultivating strong, professional relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience with credit insurance and knowledge of financial reporting governance (e. g., SOX) is considered a significant asset.
  • Membership of the Io CM or MIEx is highly desirable.

What We Offer

  • Contract: 6 months
  • Schedule: 37 hours per week, onsite five days per week in Peterborough.
  • Pay rate: GBP13.90 : GBP15.90 per hour
