Role Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality PE lessons to girls across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 as the lead PE Teacher for your classes
- Plan inspiring lessons that promote teamwork, resilience, fitness, and enjoyment of sport
- Lead extracurricular clubs and contribute to inter-school fixtures, giving students opportunities to excel
- Monitor and assess progress, ensuring every student is supported to achieve their best
- Work collaboratively with other PE staff, ensuring a consistent, high-quality experience for all students
- Support whole-school events and initiatives, representing the department as a committed PE Teacher
Candidate Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with strong experience as a PE Teacher
- Confidence teaching a broad range of sports and activities within a secondary setting
- A genuine enthusiasm for promoting girls' participation and confidence in physical education
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students
- A team player who enjoys working closely with fellow PE Teacher colleagues
