Salary: GBP23,500-27,000 dependent on experience

I am seeking a passionate Part One Architectural Assistant to join a successful Architectural and planning consultancy in one of their two offices in Suffolk. This dynamic practice has a diverse portfolio of building types from leisure, agricultural, and commercial to housing developments. Their multidisciplined talented team is comprised of planners, designers, architects, and technicians and benefits from a collaborative working environment where they can progress with regular training and support. Also on offer is flexible working arrangements, a competitive salary, and a mix of interesting projects. With a number of exciting projects on the horizon, they are keen to add to their extensive experience and design capabilities with the addition of a driven Part One Architectural Assistant.

The successful Part One Architectural Assistant will boast strong creativity and design skills, a year or two of post Part One qualification experience, and experience with AutoCAD and SketchUp.

Skills, Experience and Responsibilities for the role of Part One Architectural Assistant:

  1. Ideally 1-2 years post Part One qualification experience in a UK Architectural Practice
  2. RIBA Part One qualified
  3. Well versed in industry standard software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite
  4. Good knowledge of Building Regulations
  5. Ideally an insight across the RIBA stages from practice experience
  6. Excellent time management and organisation skills
  7. Demonstrable technical excellence
  8. Great communication and presentation skills
  9. Proactive and positive approach to work
  10. Keen to input to company growth
  11. Experience working across a diverse portfolio of projects
  12. Sector experience such as residential, commercial, and agricultural
  13. Live locally to Suffolk
