Position Summary
My client is looking for a packaging technologist to help design packaging for their products, which display on the shelves of all the UK's major retailers. If you have packaging experience and want your work to reach as many people as possible, then this is the role for you.
Role And Responsibilities:
- Supporting NPD processes to bring new products to market
- Building relationships with suppliers
- Ensuring existing and new packaging is fit for purpose
- Supporting issues with packaging, working alongside QA and operations
- Coordinating design and redesign of new and existing packaging
Knowledge, Skills And Experience:
- Ability to problem solve and implement corrective actions
- Experience working with various types of packaging (corrugated, carding and flexible)
- Experience in Food / FMCG Manufacturing
- Ability to work as a team to handle production problems.
