A growing, specialist engineering consultancy delivering fibre optic monitoring services across the ground engineering and structural sectors, both in the UK and internationally are seeking a recent graduate to join their team. The business is ISO 9001 and 14001 accredited and is expanding its technical team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded graduate to develop a career as a Junior Instrumentation and Monitoring Technician.

As a Junior Instrumentation and Monitoring Technician, you will support the delivery of projects, assisting with the preparation and installation of sensitive instrumentation, including fibre optics, on busy construction sites. Youll also learn to work with dataloggers and monitoring software, complete quality checks, maintain accurate site records and support health and safety documentation.

The position is based near Oxford and involves regular travel, working away from home and occasional unsociable hours at short notice.

Requirements

  • BSc:level Engineering qualification (Civil, Mechanical, Geology or similar)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Full right to work in the UK
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Previous site experience/CSCS card is desirable
  • You must live in or near Oxford to be within practical commuting distance of the office

This is a permanent role.
