Oxford Nurse Seekers are delighted to be recruiting for an experienced and passionate Charge Nurse/Senior Sister (RGN) on behalf of a well-established nursing service in Oxford. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dedicated clinical team delivering outstanding nursing, rehabilitation, respite and palliative care. The service supports adults recovering from illness, injury or hospital admission, helping them regain confidence, maximise their independence and achieve the very best outcomes.

The Role

  • Supporting the Matron and wider team, you'll play a key role in leading the nursing team and maintaining the highest standards of clinical care.
  • You'll provide day-to-day clinical care and leadership, mentor and support colleagues, oversee medication management, and work closely with GPs, therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional, person-centred care.
  • You'll also contribute to clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives and help create a positive, supportive environment for both residents and staff.

About You

  • Current NMC registration (RGN preferred)
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in a senior nursing role such as Clinical Lead or Deputy
  • At least 5 years UK nursing experience
  • Strong clinical assessment and leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A compassionate, proactive and person-centred approach
  • Good knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical governance
