What You Will Do
- Oversee and coordinate day:to:day manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production processes and minimal downtime.
- Implement strategies to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with industry regulations and quality standards.
- Manage operational budgets, monitor stock levels, and ensure production demands are met efficiently.
- Establish and enforce quality control standards to consistently deliver products that exceed customer expectations.
- Lead and mentor a manufacturing team, fostering a positive and motivated work environment while supporting employee development.
- Ensure best health and safety practices are maintained, adhering to the companys Health and Safety Policy.
What You Will Bring
- At least five years experience in planning and managing complex manufacturing operations.
- In:depth knowledge of health and safety regulations with a NEBOSH or IOSH qualification.
- Proven experience working within BRC:led companies, ISO 9001 QMS, and HACCP systems within production or manufacturing
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and build effective teams across various disciplines.
- Exceptional organisational, analytical, and communication skills, with a hands:on, flexible approach to problem:solving.
- Experience within packaging and / or print industry highly advantageous
