An independent bilingual (French and English) day nursery located near Tufnell Park station seeks an experienced Nursery Manager to join its expanding team of 20 staff. The nursery has a capacity for approximately 50 children aged from babies to five years old and prides itself as one of the leading French‑speaking Early Years providers in the UK.
Salary & Benefits

Responsibilities
- Draw up long‑term, medium‑term, and sessional curriculum plans in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage, and monitor the effectiveness of the setting’s curriculum.
- Effectively lead, develop, and manage a large team to ensure children are cared for in a happy, safe, and stimulating environment.
- Motivate and lead the team to achieve outstanding practice.
- Plan, review, and implement industry and legislative developments to ensure compliance and a forward‑thinking approach.
- Work in partnership with parents and carers.
- Act as the setting’s designated Child Protection Officer.
- Manage a fully operational budget.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety and OFSTED requirements.
- Embrace, adopt, and implement company initiatives and ideas to support the organisation’s aims and values.
Qualifications & Experience
- Early Years Degree (preferred).
- Previous experience managing a nursery of a similar size.
- Experience leading exceptional childcare standards and ensuring compliance with Health and Safety and OFSTED requirements.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets and KPIs.
- Applicant will need to complete an enhanced DBS (CRB).
