Your Responsibilities

  • Engage in daily activities, including play, learning, and meal times, while supporting children's overall development.
  • Help plan and deliver activities that promote children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive growth.
  • Ensure the well-being, health, and safety of all children in your care.
  • Encourage positive relationships with the children, helping to build their confidence and independence.
  • Work collaboratively with nursery staff and educators to maintain a welcoming and inclusive environment.
  • Assist with classroom or nursery setup and cleaning, ensuring an organized space.
  • Observe children's development and contribute to progress records and reports.
  • Maintain effective communication with parents and carers, sharing updates on their child's progress.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with young children in a nursery or early years setting is highly desirable.
  • A nurturing, patient, and compassionate approach to childcare.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework is a plus.
  • Relevant childcare qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3) are beneficial but not required.
