A fantastic new job opportunity has become available for an experienced Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. The care home is a boutique luxury, purpose-built facility offering residential and nursing care, with therapy and exercise rooms and an octagonal glass public café.
A qualified Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Support the Home Manager and handle day-to-day operations in their absence.
Alongside the Home Manager, manage and be responsible for all aspects of the service in line with CQC requirements.
Ensure service users receive the highest standards of professional support, encouraging growth and independence.
Cover floors or work alongside nurses as needed, often working outside the office.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Previous Deputy Home Manager experience.
Ability to engage with service users to understand their needs and deliver excellent care.
Good working knowledge of CQC standards.
Skill in building and maintaining relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors, and staff.
Good clinical skills.
Promote ownership of care programs by involving service users and families in developing, agreeing, and evaluating them.
