We are looking for two experienced Wills, Trusts and Probate Solicitors or FILEX to join our highly regarded private client team. The Wills, Trusts and Probate department is recommended in The Legal 500 UK as a "highly professional team". Positions are full‑time, and you could be based at any of our three branch locations.
Responsibilities
- Draft Wills and advise clients on estate planning and succession matters
- Administer estates of varying complexity
- Prepare and advise on Lasting Powers of Attorney
- Set up and administer Trusts, providing clear practical advice to clients
- Build strong, trusted relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Private Client team to deliver an efficient, high-quality service
Qualifications
- At least two years' post‑qualification experience as a solicitor or FILEX
- Full STEP membership desirable, or actively working towards qualification
- Strong background in Wills, Trusts and Probate work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to high standards of client care
- Ability to manage a varied caseload effectively and meet deadlines
- Positive, collaborative approach within a growing team
