- Plan, prepare and deliver lessons within Nurture Classes.
- Support pupils to access the curriculum and develop independence.
- Build positive relationships with students, colleagues, families, and external professionals.
- Promote inclusion, self‑esteem and social development.
- Contribute to a caring, safe, and ambitious learning environment.
Role Overview
- Plan, resource and deliver lessons in collaboration with teachers and SEND colleagues.
- Provide targeted intervention and personalised support for students with SEND.
- Work within specialist Nurture classrooms, the Cognition and Learning Base, or the SEMH Base.
- Supervise classes when teachers are temporarily unavailable.
- Attend Parents Evening alongside Lead Nurture Teacher/Nurture Teacher.
