An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a committed Senior Support Worker to work in an exceptional nursing home based in the Northwich, Cheshire area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.
This is a fantastic nursing home which provides nursing care, dementia care, residential care, respite and short stay care, as well as end of life care.
Key Duties:- Recognise and facilitate the daily needs of residents.
- Conduct formal supervisions and appraisals.
- Contribute to care planning and coach support workers.
- Take an active professional role in promoting services to relatives, prospective residents and enquiries.
- Participate in updating and writing care plans and resident documentation.
- Make realistic assessments of each resident to ensure continuity of care.
- Administer medication to residents in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Proven experience of working in a care setting.
- Good team player.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
