Job Description: Vacuum Suction Excavator Driver / Operative for a civil housing construction company. You will drive and operate a brand-new suction excavator, commute to housing sites (45–50 miles from Northampton) in a company van. You will be one of two drivers; work with a partner on site.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate and drive the suction excavator safely and efficiently.
- Transport the vehicle to various housing sites as required.
- Work collaboratively with team members and contractors on site.
- Adhere to shift times and complete the full 45 hours per week plus overtime.
- HGV Class 2 (Cat C) licence.
- Plant operator card CPCS A78 and/or NPORS for vacuum excavators.
- ESUR/NPORS card.
- Good communication skills and team player attitude.
- Reliable, strong work ethic, willing to start ASAP.
- Experience operating a vacuum excavator.
- Existing CPCS Vacuum Excavation licence card.
- Civil background advantageous.
- Full training for suitable candidates.
