We’re looking for a dedicated MOT Tester and Vehicle Technician to maintain and test a range of high-end vehicles, ensuring customers leave with a product that exceeds their expectations.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced MOT Tester and Vehicle Technician who thrives in a dynamic and hands-on environment. You’ll be at the forefront of delivering exceptional customer service through servicing and MOT testing on some of the best campervans and motorhomes on the roads.
As a MOT Tester and Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring vehicles meet safety standards, maintaining an exceptional quality of work, and carrying out essential repairs, services, testing (Class 4 and 7) and diagnostics in a professional and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine servicing, and minor repairs on a variety of vehicles, ensuring each job meets manufacturer and industry standards
- Perform Class 4 and 7 MOT tests, including preparation and diagnostics, ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant with regulations
- Complete MOT-related repairs and any additional vehicle work required to pass testing
- Carry out vehicle health checks, inspections, habitation checks and fault diagnosis using modern diagnostic equipment
- Accurately document job cards, service records, MOT test documentation and relevant vehicle information
- Work effectively with the Service Advisors, Vehicle Technicians and Workshop Controllers to manage workflow and customer expectations
- Keep up to date with the latest vehicle technologies and technical training
- Adhere to manufacturer warranty procedures and quality control measures
