Responsibilities:
The Geo-Environmental Site Engineer will be required to oversee large and medium scale site investigations across the Durham, Newcastle, Middlesbrough and Yorkshire area. You will travel at times and may be away from home on some projects. The role includes writing factual reports, carrying out desktop studies, groundwater and gas monitoring, soil and rock sampling and borehole logging.
Qualifications:
- Be familiar with and have experience with UK site investigation techniques from geotechnical and/or geo-environmental positions.
- Have a degree in a relevant subject, e.g., geology, geotechnical/civil engineering or environmental engineering.
- Have a full UK Driving Licence.
- Live commutable to the Durham area.
- Have a full right to work in the UK.
