Location: North Walsham, Norfolk

Shift Pattern: Rotating days and nights (6:6)

Salary: £50,500 + overtime

Responsibilities:

  • Electrical and mechanical repairs, PPMs and servicing of all site equipment
  • Basic facilities and site services maintenance
  • Working on production and packaging machinery and ancillary equipment
  • Continuous improvement projects and machine upgrades
  • Dealing with hydraulics, cylinders, sensors, pneumatics, gearboxes, valves, drives and pumps

Qualifications:

  • Must be a mechanically biased engineer
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical
  • Have a relevant electrical certificate or qualification
  • Have prior experience working in manufacturing
  • Comfortable working night shift unsupervised at times
  • Team player, adaptable, approachable and reliable
  • Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes and pumps
