Responsibilities:
- Electrical and mechanical repairs, PPMs and servicing of all site equipment
- Basic facilities and site services maintenance
- Working on production and packaging machinery and ancillary equipment
- Continuous improvement projects and machine upgrades
- Dealing with hydraulics, cylinders, sensors, pneumatics, gearboxes, valves, drives and pumps
Qualifications:
- Must be a mechanically biased engineer
- NVQ Level 3 or higher in mechanical
- Have a relevant electrical certificate or qualification
- Have prior experience working in manufacturing
- Comfortable working night shift unsupervised at times
- Team player, adaptable, approachable and reliable
- Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes and pumps
