Role
- Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations
- Lead and develop junior chefs within the brigade
- Maintain exceptional food quality and presentation standards
- Assist with menu planning and development
- Support hospitality, conference and event catering
- Manage stock, ordering and food cost controls
- Ensure full compliance with food safety and health and safety procedures
- Help drive a positive and professional kitchen culture
About You
- Previous Sous Chef experience within education or contract catering
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Reliable, consistent and committed to long‑term roles
