Job Description
- Lead a team of Quality professionals in a high volume manufacturing environment
- First point of contact for all external and internal customer concerns
- Instigation of 8D activity following customer concern and delegation of work to team thereafter
- Audit systems and processes to ISO9001 standard
- Utilise data of quality defects to improve quality processes
- Identify area for quality improvements
- Utilisation of six sigma/lean tools to increase efficiencies and improve site quality
- Maintain and develop the QMS and quality structure
Experience
- HNC/Degree in a technical subject or equivalent professional level qualification
- Excellent knowledge of quality systems with particular focus on ISO9001
- Strong communicator internally and in liaison with demanding customers
- Strong understanding of Route Cause Analysis and structured problem solving tools: 8D, MSA, 5Why
- Excellent grasp of lean six sigma tools: green belt certification desirable
- Demonstrate leadership ability to coach and build self-confidence in team
