We are looking for a Mid‑Level Laravel Developer to join our expanding tech team based onsite in Crewe. This role involves building new applications and modernising legacy systems, working closely with operational teams and stakeholders across the business, and acting as the onsite technical representative for the central IT team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Developing and maintaining web applications using Laravel and PHP
  • Migrating legacy systems into modern Laravel architecture
  • Building scalable multi‑tenant SaaS platforms
  • Integrating third‑party APIs and services
  • Developing frontend functionality using Vue.js or React
  • Optimising databases and implementing caching strategies such as Redis
  • Supporting internal systems and troubleshooting technical issues
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver business‑focused solutions
  • Contributing to performance improvements, security enhancements and development best practices

What we’re looking for:

  • Minimum 3 years of software development experience
  • At least 2 years hands‑on Laravel experience
  • Strong PHP and Laravel development skills
  • Experience with REST APIs and database optimisation
  • Knowledge of Vue.js or React
  • Familiarity with Redis, Git and CI/CD workflows
  • Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice to have:

  • Java (Spring Boot) experience
  • Python experience
