Are you a seasoned Site Manager who thrives on taking full ownership of a project? We are looking for a high-caliber Number 1 Site Manager to lead a brand-new phase of our existing flagship residential development.
The Role
As the lead Site Manager, you will report to the Contracts Manager but will have the autonomy to drive your phase forward. You will be managing a fast-paced environment where quality, safety, and program adherence are non-negotiable.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Oversight: Leading the new phase as the designated Number 1 on-site.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Coordinating all trades to ensure the build program stays on track.
- Quality Control: Conducting rigorous inspections to maintain our reputation for high-spec finishes.
- Health and Safety: Maintaining a gold-standard site environment and ensuring full compliance.
- Customer Excellence: Ensuring all plots are delivered to the highest standards for our residents.
What We're Looking For
We need a proactive leader who doesn’t need their hand held. You should be a problem-solver with a boots on the ground approach.
Essential Requirements
- Proven Experience: You must have acted as a Number 1 Site Manager on significant residential (new build) projects previously.
- Technical Knowledge: A deep understanding of traditional and/or timber frame construction methods.
- Leadership: Strong presence on-site with the ability to motivate sub-contractors and meet tight deadlines.
Mandatory In-Date Tickets:
- SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme)
- CSCS Card (Black Managerial Card preferred)
- First Aid at Work (3-day)
