Location: YO26, near Wetherby, North Yorkshire.

Salary: Up to £12.71 per hour + benefits.

Hours: Full‑time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.

Terzetto Stone and Porcelain is looking to recruit a Stone and Tile Fabricator to join our growing team at our head office and warehouse location near Wetherby, in North Yorkshire. We import natural stone and porcelain tiles and other products from around the world and we have five retail showrooms across the UK. We provide free cut tile samples for our customers by post and in our showrooms. This role is to manage the fabrication of these samples and may suit someone who has worked in the stone or tile industry previously or has tiling or cutting experience.

Responsibilities
  • Fabricating stone and conducting sample cutting using wet cutter equipment
  • Using hand tools to finish cut tiles
  • Packing customer sample orders to agreed standards
  • Operating forklift trucks and ensuring safe handling of goods
  • Travelling to showrooms to deliver samples and support the updating of tile displays
  • Supporting the warehouse with other duties such as picking, packing, and quality checking orders to maintain high standards
  • Supporting the receiving and inspecting container deliveries for quality control
  • Assisting with exhibition setups
  • Maintaining warehouse cleanliness and organisation, including waste management
  • Adhering to security protocols and safety procedures
  • Providing support for stock takes and covering for colleagues as needed
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of recent warehouse or fabrication experience
  • Strong numeracy skills
  • Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing demands
  • Forklift truck licence preferable
  • Ability to handle heavy goods in a physically demanding role
