The Role: Maintenance Manager : Luxury Country Hotel and Resort

Location: East Sussex

Salary: Up to A GBP 38,000

We are on the look out for a well organised Maintenance Manager for a luxury hotel and resort in East Sussex. As Maintenance Manager you will oversee all H and S, maintenance, inspections and project management.

About The Position

  • Understand the H and S legislation including the use of Risk Assessments
  • Budgeting and cost planning
  • Oversee the management of the department
  • Perform daily checks within the hotel and the grounds
  • Manage the Maintenance Team rota
  • Train and develop the team
  • Look after the maintenance of all the fixture and fittings
  • Responsible for overall planning, monitoring, and control of maintenance of the properties

Skills And Responsibilities

  • A professional qualification in facilities management or relevant experience would be preferred
  • A qualification in health and safety
  • Significant relevant experience in similar roles and environments
  • Working knowledge of general equipment functioning
  • Problem solving ability
  • Previous hotel or facilities management experience is necessary
  • Good communication skills at all levels
