Location: Erdington, Birmingham

Salary: GBP46,000 – GBP46,500

Hours: Monday – Friday, 3 Shift, 1 Sunday in 4

Role And Responsibilities

  • Planned Maintenance inspections, review parts used
  • Recommend improvements in line with projects and maintenance schedules, carry out safety checks on range of equipment
  • Monitor plant conditions, report defects, repair of machinery
  • Generate and maintain compliance to SOPs, risk assessments
  • Report on plant performance using systems, ensure action on non‑conformance issues
  • Working on a range of valves and pumps
  • Supporting production and continuous improvement projects

Knowledge, Skills And Experience

  • Formal Engineering Qualification: C and G Level 3, NVQ Level 3, Apprenticeship trained
  • Continuous improvement knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of good engineering standards
  • Experience in food, packaging, drink, manufacturing environments
