Maintenance Engineer (Electrical)

Location: Buxton

Salary: Competitive Salary DOE + Regular Overtime (1.5x) + Increasing Holidays (Up to 25) + Bank Holidays + Pension + Training + Progression

Working Hours: Days Based 39 Hours per Week (More Hours Available)

Shifts: Monday – Thursday 06:00 – 15:00, Friday – 06:00 – 11:00 OR Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday – 07:30 – 12:30

Overview:
Maintenance Engineer required for a heavy engineering company in the Buxton area. This is a great opportunity for an electrically biased engineer to join a growing company who can offer fantastic training and overtime opportunities within a days-based position.

Responsibilities:

1. Carry out electrical fault finding and repair work on a range of production equipment.
2. Perform 85% preventative maintenance and 15% reactive maintenance.
3. Installation work when required.
4. Regular overtime available on Friday afternoons and Saturdays.

Requirements:

1. Qualified electrician.
2. Experience working in an industrial environment.
3. Background working with control circuits, PLCs, variable speed drives, etc. (manufacturing and/or heavy industry experience is advantageous but not essential).
