An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance and Repair Technician to join a leading automotive manufacturing environment supporting production operations by working on various sealant systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining , repairing , and fault: finding on automated sealant application systems, ensuring that equipment reliability, production efficiency, and quality standards are consistently achieved.

Key Responsibilities of the Maintenance and Repair Technician

  • Diagnose and repair faults on automated sealant application equipment and associated systems.
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance activities.
  • Perform mechanical inspections and replace components where required.
  • Support continuous improvement activities to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency.
  • Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and in line with quality procedures.
  • Work closely with production and engineering teams to minimise equipment downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records where required.
  • Contribute towards maintaining high manufacturing standards across production operations.

  • Strong mechanical or maintenance technician background.
  • Experience within automotive, manufacturing, or production environments.
  • Ability to diagnose faults and carry out effective repairs.

This position is offered on a rolling contract basis, with the opportunity for permanent employment following a successful review period.

The successful Maintenance and Repair Technician will work within a busy manufacturing environment supporting production operations.
