Key Responsibilities- Supervising and managing ground investigation works
- Soil and rock logging in accordance with current British Standards
- Carrying out site investigations including trial pits and boreholes
- Preparing factual and interpretative ground investigation reports
- Assisting with geotechnical assessments and foundation recommendations
- Supporting contaminated land assessments and remediation projects
- Liaising with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring health and safety standards are maintained on site
- Degree in Engineering Geology, Geology, Geoscience, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Previous experience within ground investigation or geotechnical consultancy
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Good understanding of geotechnical and contaminated land principles
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Motivated attitude with a willingness to learn and progress
