What You Will Do As Senior CAE Engineer:

  • Develop mechanical design schemes and detailed designs of motorcycle chassis parts and assemblies.
  • Carry out the structural analysis of composite chassis components.
  • Carry out concept development for mechanical systems.
  • Use hand calculations and CAE tools to analyse and optimise chassis components.
  • Liaise confidently with internal teams across Design and Engineering plus external suppliers where required.
  • Mentor engineers within the team and represent Motorcycle Development Engineering in interdepartmental meetings when needed.

What You Will Bring As Senior CAE Engineer:

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent, along with proven experience in CAE Structural Analysis.
  • Experience within Structural Design of composite materials.
  • Proficient in carrying out engineering calculations to support analysis work.
  • Industry knowledge using CAE software, Creo Simulate would be beneficial.
  • Excellent problem solver, clear and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to achieve project technical targets within required timescales.
