On behalf of our partner Secondary School in Luton, we are seeking a top-tier Qualified Secondary Teacher (QTS/QTLS mandatory) for a full-time, long-term placement beginning in September 2026. Key Responsibilities

  • High-Impact Lesson Delivery: Plan, prepare, and facilitate stimulating subject lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities available for experienced practitioners), ensuring alignment with national curriculum standards and exam board specifications.
  • Academic Tracking and Assessment: Utilise robust formative and summative assessment tools to monitor student progress, interpreting data effectively to implement tailored catch‑up routines or higher‑tier stretch interventions.
  • Positive Behaviour Management: Establish clear classroom routines and high behavioural expectations from day one, utilising proactive, positive reinforcement strategies to maintain a focused, respectful learning environment.
  • Inclusive Education Support: Coordinate closely with the school SENDCO and deploy classroom Learning Support Assistants effectively, ensuring students with additional needs or English as an Additional Language (EAL) can fully access the curriculum.
