A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Solicitor to lead its residential conveyancing team.
Overview
- Overall responsibility for the residential property team as Head of Department
- Ensure efficient workflow management and high quality service delivery
- Drive sustained departmental growth
- Manage a reduced but varied caseload, including: Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, transfers of equity and re-mortgages
- Provide day to day supervision of the team
- Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic plans
- Ensure compliance with CQS and SRA standards
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior fee earners
- Work closely with the Partners on: Departmental reporting, financial oversight and business development initiatives
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor, Legal Executive, or Licensed Conveyancer
- Minimum of 3 years' residential conveyancing experience
- Proven experience supervising or leading a team
- Strong technical expertise across all aspects of conveyancing
- Confident managing client relationships
- Able to contribute to the firm's wider commercial strategy
- Excellent organisational, communication and leadership skills
- Knowledge of the local property market and surrounding estates is highly desirable
