About the role
REESON Education are recruiting for a male support worker in a special needs college in Hackney. As a support worker you will be assisting pupils with their day to day needs in both the classroom and the community. There are permanent roles available for the right people.
Key responsibilities
- Support our pupils to be engaged in all day to day living activities, including making full use of their community and beyond.
- Support our people with social activities, and connecting with family and friends.
- Work as part of a class team; although this is a support worker role you are in the classroom.
Qualifications and requirements
- Support Worker experience is preferred but not essential.
- You must be able to commute to Hackney easily.
- You must be able to work Monday to Friday during term time only and have no visa restriction.
- Full time role; must already have the right to work within the UK without restriction. Sponsorship not available.
Additional information
The role is full time, permanent, based at the Hackney site with possible future transfer.
