We are recruiting Enabling Support Workers at Shaftesbury Next Steps. Note: this role is not eligible for visa sponsorship as the service is not registered with the CQC. We seek candidates with passion, talent, skills and experience that align with a caring and community‑minded workforce.
About The Role
As an Enabling Support Worker, you will provide support and encouragement by following direction from the person supported and the person‑centered support plan. You will maintain accurate records during work and may administer personal care and medication. Cover sleep sessions and receive an additional A GBP 60 per sleep in. Next Steps is a day centre supporting young adults with learning disabilities and complex needs to develop life skills and build confidence. Our staff encourage participants to engage in activities such as arts and crafts, sport, fitness and wellbeing, and gardening and horticulture.
