Overview
The main focus of this role is to manage cases relating to investigations, enforcement work, fitness‑to‑practice matters and interim suspensions.
Responsibilities
- Make independent decisions and contribute to continual improvement of regulatory decision‑making quality.
- Support litigation where required and work closely with colleagues across the organisation to deliver shared objectives.
- Manage complex cases, balance multiple priorities, and maintain effective case management under pressure.
- Evaluate facts, assess risks, and consider constraints when making decisions.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitor, barrister, or FCILEx in England and Wales, or foreign qualified lawyer with similar experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related role, with an understanding of legal processes and/or litigation.
- Strong case‑management skills and ability to work independently.
