The predicted salary is between 18 - 23 Β£ per hour.
Mediplacements are currently seeking a Band 6 Podiatrist for a general care locum role in Oxfordshire. The pay for this position is GBP18 - GBP23 per hour, and we are looking for someone who can start as soon as possible for an ongoing duration.
Desirable: Car Owner/Driver.
Ideally, experience of podiatry wound care of the diabetic and non-diabetic foot. To provide specialist podiatry services. To assess, diagnose and manage the ongoing primary care of patients with at-risk foot health status and treat wounds (deficiencies in circulatory and neurological supplies and reduced tissue viability); patients with painful gait anomalies (through biomechanical assessment and the prescription/manufacture of appropriate orthoses) and patients with onychocryptosis (through the use of local anaesthetics and surgery). To manage an identified caseload of patients and undertake all associated communication and liaison with other health care professionals. To provide safe and adequate record keeping within the EMIS electronic patient record system.
