Location: Telford

Salary: A GBP 35,114 starting salary

Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off : 12-hour rotating shifts (Days and Nights, including weekends)

We have an exciting opportunity for a Logistics Team Leader to join our client’s fast-paced warehouse operation in Telford. This hands-on leadership role involves ensuring the smooth running of daily warehouse activities while leading and motivating a team to achieve operational excellence.

Role

  • Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Ensure accurate and timely order fulfilment against performance targets
  • Monitor stock levels, conduct cycle counts, and resolve discrepancies
  • Lead, train, and onboard team members in line with company standards
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organised working environment
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
  • Operate warehouse equipment and report maintenance issues
  • Track and report KPIs, identifying areas for improvement
  • Work collaboratively with other departments such as logistics and customer service
  • Resolve operational issues and team challenges effectively

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership or supervisory experience
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
  • Calm and confident approach under pressure
  • High level of integrity and professionalism
  • Strong numeracy and attention to detail
  • IT proficiency
  • Forklift licence (preferred)
  • Experience in a busy warehouse or food manufacturing environment (advantageous)
