Role Overview
Location: University of Lincoln (Hybrid: offer both in person and online sessions flexibly to meet student preferences.)
Pay: GBP28 per hour (+ GBP3.38 hourly accrued holiday pay) on a PAYE contract with weekly payments. Part time.
Responsibilities
- Work one:one with students to provide tailored support.
- Help students achieve a healthy balance between daily living activities and academic tasks.
- Improve organizational skills, including effective time management.
- Assist students in preparing for deadlines by breaking down assignments into manageable steps.
- Support students in managing stress and anxiety related to their studies or daily life.
- Guide students in reflecting on their personal and academic experiences.
- Boost students' confidence by identifying and building upon their existing strengths.
- Prepare students for new, potentially nerve‑wracking experiences.
- Maintain close communication with Randstad and report any student concerns promptly.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
Requirements
This is a specialist role. You must hold active membership with at least one of the recognized professional organizations at the required level. Please refer to pages 8 and 9 (Specialist Mentor MH) to verify your eligibility.
