Vacancy Type: Six Month Fixed Term Contract

Benjamin Edwards are recruiting for an immediately available HR Advisor on behalf of a well-established and highly respected organisation with a strong community presence across Lincolnshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and supportive People team on a 6-month fixed-term contract, supporting the business through a varied and fast-paced HR workload.

You'll join a collaborative and supportive People team where no two days are the same. The role offers a varied workload, exposure to a broad range of HR matters, and the opportunity to contribute to wider people initiatives and organisational projects.

The Role of the HR Advisor

As HR Advisor, you'll act as a trusted partner to managers and colleagues across the business, providing practical and commercially focused HR guidance. You'll play a key role in supporting employee wellbeing, ensuring fair and consistent people practices, and helping managers navigate a range of ER matters confidently.

Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Advising managers on employee relations matters including absence, disciplinary, grievance, probation and performance issues
  • Supporting investigations, hearings and formal meetings
  • Coaching line managers to strengthen people management capability
  • Managing occupational health referrals and supporting employee wellbeing initiatives
  • Assisting with organisational change projects including restructures and TUPE activity
  • Supporting flexible working requests and HR policy application
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and ensuring GDPR compliance
  • Building strong working relationships across the wider business and People function

The ideal candidate for the HR Advisor

We're looking for an HR professional who is confident, approachable and solutions-focused, with previous experience in a busy advisory role.

You Will Ideally Have

  • Previous HR Advisory or Employee Relations experience
  • Up-to-date knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • CIPD qualification or working towards accreditation
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • The ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy
  • Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
