Overview
LOCATION: Berkshire (Hybrid: 3 days on-site, 2 days from home)
SALARY: GBP 35K - GBP 60K (DOE)
Responsibilities:
- Managing a varied caseload of probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to distribution.
- Providing expert legal advice on probate, inheritance tax and private client matters.
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents including IHT forms, grant applications and estate accounts.
- Ensuring compliance with probate law, SRA regulations and internal governance standards.
- Supporting and mentoring junior colleagues and paralegals.
Qualifications:
- Legal Counsel / Legal Executive / Lawyer with a minimum of one year's experience in probate or private client law.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the future of legal services.
- Confident communicator who can support clients through emotionally sensitive situations with empathy and clarity.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end probate and estate administration cases.
- Ability to handle complex or high-value estates with minimal supervision.
