We are seeking a committed Consultant Psychologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Leeds. The role is part-time (22.5 hours per week) with an annual salary of Β£46,800.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and respond promptly to referrals, undertaking assessments to determine and plan effective therapy programmes for assigned clients.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring activities and interventions meet client needs and align with therapy plans.
- Manage an assigned caseload within agreed timescales, maintaining regular interaction and communication with clients, professional colleagues and clinical staff.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records (case notes, case files, clinical reports, electronic systems) and share relevant information at MDT meetings.
- Lead and coordinate professional and clinical colleagues, providing psychotherapeutic advice and guidance, and assist with analysis of statistical data for research and audit.
Qualifications
- Qualified Psychologist with HCPC Registration is mandatory.
- Preferred experience includes:
- Working with complex clients at a strategic level.
- Delivering specialist interventions for complex service users.
- Training in clinical supervision.
- Proficiency in CBT and at least two other therapeutic modalities.
- Leadership and management experience.
