As we navigate the 2026 digital education revolution, we are completely transforming the way our staff teach and our students learn. To make this happen, we are looking for a high-impact, hands-on Learning Technologist to join our team as a frontline implementation specialist. As a Learning Technologist, you will act as a Digital Consultant embedded within our academic departments, providing direct, practical support to teaching staff.

Your mission is to dismantle barriers to technology adoption. You are a pedagogical partner focused on the user experience, helping lecturers integrate generative AI into their assessment process, filming 360-degree videos, or setting up immersive VR simulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert, hands-on support to teaching staff to seamlessly integrate digital tools and generative AI applications into daily classroom delivery.
  • Design and deliver engaging workshops and bespoke 1:1 coaching surgeries tailored to varying digital literacy levels.
  • Participate actively in the Groups quality cycle, supporting digital Learning Walks and Deep Dives, translating observations into immediate, supportive coaching interventions.
  • Partner with academic teams to design future-ready course content optimised for student engagement, retention, and employability standards.
  • Maintain a dynamic, future-ready Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) by conducting regular User-Experience (UX) audits from a student's perspective to ensure intuitive navigation.

You will...
  • Have experience working within an FE/HE or training environment with a strong understanding of how digital tools drive student achievement.
  • Be highly confident with VLE platforms, creative digital asset creation, generative AI applications, and immersive technologies (like VR/AR or 360-degree video production).
  • Be a supportive coach who can break down complex technical concepts into jargon-free, actionable steps for digital beginners, while still challenging early adopters.
