Job Title: Teaching Assistant

Reeson Education is looking for a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school. This Teaching Assistant role is full time, long term, and set to start ASAP.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in class, in groups, and 1:1
  • Help children regulate emotions, manage behaviours, and build confidence
  • Support learning across the curriculum and implement differentiated strategies
  • Liaise with teaching staff and therapists to follow care and learning plans
  • Encourage independence and celebrate every small win

The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will

  • Be a reliable, proactive, and patient Teaching Assistant
  • Have experience supporting children with SEND, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD
  • Be enthusiastic and consistent in providing calm and positive support

Teaching Assistant Requirements

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing)
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Strong commitment to the role of a Teaching Assistant
