Job Title: Teaching Assistant
Reeson Education is looking for a committed and passionate Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive SEN school. This Teaching Assistant role is full time, long term, and set to start ASAP.
Responsibilities
- Work as a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEND in class, in groups, and 1:1
- Help children regulate emotions, manage behaviours, and build confidence
- Support learning across the curriculum and implement differentiated strategies
- Liaise with teaching staff and therapists to follow care and learning plans
- Encourage independence and celebrate every small win
The Ideal Teaching Assistant Will
- Be a reliable, proactive, and patient Teaching Assistant
- Have experience supporting children with SEND, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD
- Be enthusiastic and consistent in providing calm and positive support
Teaching Assistant Requirements
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing)
- Right to work in the UK
- Strong commitment to the role of a Teaching Assistant
