Lead Occupational Therapist role at TipTopJob – an independent mental health hospital in Wadhurst, East Sussex. We seek a qualified Occupational Therapist with HCPC registration to provide clinical leadership, conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver direct occupational therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the clinical work of other occupational therapists and support staff
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for patients to address occupational therapy needs
  • Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to patients, such as individual or group therapy sessions and skills training
  • Work closely with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care for patients
  • Advocate for the role of occupational therapy in mental health care and educate patients and families about the benefits of occupational therapy

Preferred Skills & Experience

  • Experience of working within an MDT setting
  • Previous experience of people management
  • Knowledge and understanding of CPAs
  • Ability to deliver ADL assessments
  • High standard of report writing

Qualifications

You must be qualified as an Occupational Therapist and registered with HCPC.
