Job Summary
Lead CAS Modeller for a Coventry‑based OEM vehicle concepts group.
The role involves developing new vehicle concepts and the early phase definition of next‑generation electric vehicles, creating and releasing surfaces that faithfully capture design intent.

Responsibilities
- Support Interior and Exterior Surfacing Managers by managing project inputs and outputs.
- Provide strategic guidance to CAS teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment with overall project goals.
- Create and release surfaces that capture design intent with high quality and aesthetic optimisation.
- Interpret 2D sketches into 3D data for design iteration and approval.
- Sketch 3D surfaces to aid aesthetic design development.
- Create initial theme proposals for aesthetic and feasibility studies.
- Create surfaces of themes for engineering feasibility verification.
- Release surfaces for design approval and as a foundation for production surfacing activity.
Qualifications
- Degree qualified or equivalent with proven experience in creative and technical digital surface creation using Alias.
- Proven experience as a CAS Modeller.
- Experience working with engineering inputs.
- Ability to interpret design sketches to create appropriate surface proposals.
- Ability to plan time to meet deadlines.
