Responsibilities
- Work with pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups to provide support during lessons
- Provide general support to the class teacher, such as setting up the classroom for lessons
- Support pupils with SEN and develop strategies to best support their needs
- Liaise with the class teacher and any other relevant professionals to discuss pupil progress
- Provide additional support with lunch and break duties where needed
- Report any concerns to the SENCo
Requirements
- Previous experience working in a school or similar role
- Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness)
- Experience with SEN (desirable)
