Position Overview
Experience Electrical, Control and Instrumentation Engineer (EC & I Engineer)
Location: Kings Lynn
Working Hours: Monday to Friday + On-call rota
Salary: GBP 52,000 per annum

Responsibilities:
- Ensure all electrical, control and instrumentation systems operate safely and efficiently
- Electrical safety isolation, LOTO, testing and commissioning
- Work on industrial manufacturing machinery and automated warehouse systems
- Fault finding on electrical systems, motors, control valves, PLCs, HMI, DCS, SCADA, instrumentation and controls
- Lead continuous improvement projects and preventive maintenance programmes
Qualifications:
- Completed a time-served advanced modern apprenticeship
- Ideally HNC or HNC (Electrical Engineering)
- Strong electrical fault‑finding skills – motors, controls, PLCs (Siemens), DCS, HMI
- Understanding of instrumentation – sensors, transmitters, pressure, temperature and flow
- Confident in safe electrical isolation (LOTO)
- Experience in electrical testing and inspection
- Work experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
- Able to read electrical schematics, loop diagrams, P&ID diagrams
- Knowledge of variable speed drives, soft starters
- Flexible to work on call‑out rota and extra hours as required
