Are you a qualified special needs English Teacher with extensive SEBD English experience? Are you looking for a new challenge? I am currently looking for an experienced Special needs English Teacher to work in an SEBD school in Colchester, Essex. This will be a full-time, long-term permanent position.
Special needs Teachers need to have extensive experience teaching English to GCSE and low-level learners. This is an ideal position for someone who wants to gain further experience working within a special needs environment. The secondary school caters to children with SEBD, ASD and SEMH. If you have SEN experience, please apply. Special needs Teachers will need secondary or primary experience.
Responsibilities:- Commit to the development of both yourself and the pupils in your class.
- Have QTS or QTLS.
- Deliver outstanding teaching and learning alongside a multidisciplinary classroom team.
- Take the lead in your subject area and have clear ideas of how to achieve exceptional progress for students.
- Ensure that pupils fulfil their potential and maintain ambitious expectations.
- Maintain a calm demeanour and sense of humour under pressure.
- Understand and be committed to safeguarding children.
