We are currently seeking an experienced Trailer Fitter to join our Felixstowe Depot. Within this role you will work in our depot workshop and may also be required to carry out field-based repairs. You will be working alongside our established workshop staff and the Depot Manager/Rental staff. Ideally you will have a proven track record as a Fitter or Mechanic in a commercial vehicle environment, with the ability to maintain all makes of trailers.

Responsibilities:
  • Inspecting trailers to MOT standard
  • Showing competence when carrying out repairs and servicing
  • Liaising with the Depot Manager
  • Performing pre-delivery inspections in line with company policy
  • Completing all paperwork, clock cards and job cards accurately and efficiently within the time scale required
