Senior Ecologist : Ipswich : GBP30,000:GBP40,000 DOE
Key Responsibilities
- Lead ecological surveys and assessments, including habitat and species surveys.
- Prepare high‑quality ecological reports, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies.
- Provide expert ecological advice to clients and project teams.
- Mentor and support junior ecologists within the team.
- Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and industry best practice.
Requirements
- Degree or higher qualification in Ecology, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Significant post‑graduate experience in a consultancy or applied ecological setting.
- Experience with protected species surveys and habitat assessments.
- Strong report writing and communication skills.
- Full UK driving licence and ability to work across the East of England.
