Fame24Hour Care is seeking a compassionate and reliable Healthcare Support Worker to join our team in Ipswich.

This role involves providing high: quality care and support to individuals in their own homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide personal care and practical daily living support in service users own homes.
  • Assist with household tasks, meal preparation, shopping, and daily routines.
  • Support service users with hobbies, interests, and meaningful activities.
  • Promote independence, wellbeing, and community inclusion.
  • Follow personalised care plans and report any changes in needs.
  • Safely dispose of waste and hazardous materials.
  • Communicate effectively and adapt to individual needs.
  • Contribute to personalised support plans.
  • Safeguard and promote the welfare of all service users.

Skills And Experience

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret basic medical information.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
